For the Romantic Movie Junkee: Runaway Bride

In one of the many movie marathons me and my sister do, there are only a few which I consider as something great for me to enjoy. I have always love romantic comedies and have always—always—take into consideration these types of movies which star Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and most especially Julia Roberts, one movie in particular is The Runaway bride.

Julia plays Maggie Carpenter, a spirited young woman who had numerous unsuccessful relationships were three of which she left at the altar as she runs away. The running she does got her the call “Runaway Bride”.

Playing opposite to her is Richard Gere who plays Ike Graham, a reporter and columnist at a paper owned by his ex wife. As he search for people who can inspire him for a write-up, Ike got himself a topic after meeting with one of Maggie’s jilted ex-fiancés,. Unfortunately, the information he had gained from the said ex got him fired. To redeem himself and to get his job back, Ike now covers the life of Maggie in an investigative report on her life and her presently up-coming 4^th wedding. Things got complicated however when Ike and Maggie fell in love.

It’s a great and funny story about a jittery feet girl who finally found someone who knew her than she did herself. It’s a vibrating new type of story which took a decade to develop. Records search shows it had a line-up of fine calibers of actors to play Maggie and Ike. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere completely did the film justice as their chemistry is perfect. This is not their first team up. It can be recalled the Julia’s star to fame started when she became the lead actress in Pretty Woman, where Gere was her leading man.

Perfect for a movie marathon, runaway bride gives that total love struck energy for those who are in love and just want to feel the love.

Music Recommend: Love will show you everything

I first heard this song when my cousin recommended that I see the film If Only which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls, as Sam and Ian. In the movie they play lovers where Ian witnessed the death of his girlfriend Sam, after they had a fight—thankfully this was all a dream as he finds himself waking to relive the day before Sam’s death.

This was said to be the song she composed for Ian, that during their recital, Ian secretly distributes the notes and have her sing on stage. The Classical Mood in the Twilight Saga

I don’t know whether people are bombarded already or the opposite—can’t get enough—of Twilight! To be honest I have no idea how many fans are screaming Robert Pattinson’s or Taylor Lautner’s name nowadays, but yours truly, must admit, is definitely hooked up with the craze (minus the boy craze most teenage girls go gaga). Read the books and loved it and seeing it on the big screens made it even better. Everything came to life; from mere words to something more tangible by the eyes. What’s more is the music.

Background check on the vampire, Edward Cullen, gives us a clear characterization a very musical person especially in the field of playing the piano. This made me doubly curious as to what was the softly-played-music-that-went-to-a-rise-while-it-was-being-played, plus the fact that it went to a stronger melody, sounds like.

The Classical music of Twilight was perhaps, what I can say, the pedestal of the whole movie. Music Recommend: Kevyn Lettau’s Sunlight

Imagine yourself on a bright weekend morning, driving your car, and on your way to a getaway just by yourself—wanting to get away from the hussle and buzzle of city. The car is a convertible and the top was off, this allowed the warm breeze to blow your hair making you tingly and feeling more relaxed and—why not if you’re driving along the countryside. To complete the mood here’s that feel good music playing on your radio: Kevyn Lettau’s Sunlight.

I may have heard the song when I was a kid but the simplicity plus the ease on how it was sang was just fantastic. The song was one of those which a person can really have a positive vibe firstly because of the tune and secondly because of its lyrics.

So it’s Sunlight, a song that, public records search shows, became popular especially in Asian countries like the Philippines and Japan. The song is a part of Kevyn Lettau’s album Simple Life, Most of Lettau’s song was actually written by her. However this one was written by Bill Cantos and Ricky Lawson.

Learning how to play thousand Miles Away and many more fave music in Piano

It’s a craze since I was in College. Well, being part of the choir kind of gets us all excited at how to play the instruments rather than singing. However there was this one music that we kept figuring out how it was played since most of us usually play the piano by ear. There was Rex who can play any instruments from guitar to piano to drums, Jonar who can do the same, and of course the rest of the gang who can go for either piano of guitar. It was a passion…and it was definitely a challenge when the song “A thousand miles” by Vanessa Carlton got to be a big hit. Everyone who can play got interested in getting the notes or at least try to play it oedo style. Unfortunately most of us doesn’t know how to read notes very well and can’t even get the keys since we all range from different pitches plus the song went by very fast. Years later–and much records search browsing–the song hasn’t faded away and the learning continues. Thank God for You Tube and that endless search for people who are very dedicated in sharing what they know, videos are now available showing how to play A thousand Miles and the rest of those favorite songs.

On top of my list in You Tube videos teaching A thousand Miles is posted by pielepataan.  Her tutorial version of A thousand Miles is very easy to understand plus she sings along. Another thing I noticed about this tutorial is that she gave an easier way to play the bridge, which she devised herself.

Carter Burwell’sBella’s Lullaby

For the Twilight fanatics, there’s this great piano tutorial from xxwhispers. This pianist stated that he (or she) learned the music by ears the day the song was first released. His (or her) version of Bella’s Lullaby may not be so complete lacking the very emotional and soft play of the intro (which I love so much) and there was no instruction, just slow playing then the normal way.  Another site that offers a complete tutorial, with instruction (and intro) however is not as clear with regards to the visual (well, compared to the other site).

Rhianna’s Unfaithful

Unfaithful has always been one of my favorites in terms of the piano recital pieces that struck such strength in the intro. I’ve seen different versions of its piano tutorials, and at present, while I browse You Tube for more versions, I stumble with something clearer, plus a sort of background check where Rhianna (her voice) sings. This was to show how the piano had hit the right notes perfectly well plus there are guidelines as to which keys the pianist was playing (he was playing in b flat). So far this is my best choice of tutorial for Rhianna’s unfaithful .

Sara Bareilles’ Love Song

My last choice for a great piano selection that every girl would really want to play is Sara Bareilles’ Love Song. The best tutorial so far that I’ve seen is by gotitans999 (a personal favorite) who gave a great tutorials (His was one of my choice for video in Rhianna’s Unfaithful). Instant people search on those who have played this song for an online tutorial clearly shows that his Love Song is one of the clearest so far that even beginners can understand. Going to Vanessa Carlton’s tutorial on how to play A Thousand Miles; I just found this great site offering free video tutorials while I search for people who posted piano instructions on how to play this song (just happen to stumble upon it again). The site www.freepianotutorials.com offers free lessons in piano.

Whether you’re a beginner or someone who’s pretty use to it, there’s no harm in learning to play piano pieces. Videos such as these are great opportunities to hit the way to total musical extraordinaire. It’s time to enjoy piano lessons for free.

For those who have seen the movie New Moon and got hooked up with the blooming friendship of Bella and Jacob, then Shooting on the Moon has the biggest possibility to be part of your playlists.

Recent Public records search shows the New Moon soundtrack soaring high on the billboard charts. This sequel to the vampire hit movie based on the bestselling book with the same title, Twilight, has a full blast of indie music to fill more emotions and help describe the ups and downs of Bella’s life; one of these songs that sure did catch my attention is Jacob and Bella’s song Shooting on the Moon. Speaking of drums and guitar, Shooting on the Moon is one of those songs that friends can easily jam to.

Imagine a group of youth hanging out in the park or at the school grounds. It seems to speak of their way of life. The complications of an adolescent life and how they wish to go for their wants; for the popular kid who wish to be better than ever, for the geek who wants to be invisible from bullies, and for the emo who wishes to change the world.

The rumor of a Sequel: Titanic 2

Cut the chitchats on a sequel to James Cameron’s blockbuster hit Titanic. In as much as I wanted one too and was nearly convinced that there is one—well guys—it’s not happening.

Movie records search shows that there is no such thing as a Titanic sequel. The said trailer that took everyone who saw it wondering whether there is a sequel is actually a mash of movies created by a guy named Robert Blankenheim. Using the pseudoname Derek Johnson, Robert used 23 movies, editing scenes and putting them all together, to create the trailer to the so called Sequel Titanic Two the Surface.

This version of the sequel’s plot focuses after the time Rose threw the “heart of the ocean” pendant to the sea.   The same expedition team went underwater to look for it again but found something else instead—a frozen Jack, Rose’s lover. Jack was defrosted and was taken to a medical facility where the government seemed to lock him up for further studies. He then escapes making him a wanted man by the authorities, but as he tries to run from them he also discovers that everything he ever knew was gone—especially Rose.

Since the first release of this trailer, Titanic Two the Surface has already gained many visits from curious fans everywhere, especially after it was featured in magazines and other media forms. At present the video can be found at sites such as CNN Headline News, VH1 Best Week Ever Blog, Yahoo, and You Tube (where the creator himself posted the video using his pseudo). The said video in You Tube alone received 9,867,939 views since it was posted April 5. 2006. This also caused people to go instant people search on who is “Derek Johnson”.

Another copy was made by Robert, which is presently posted in You Tube, this time using his own name. He had conceived the idea of the said sequel five years ago but was unfortunate not to make it then due to lack of technical skills in using the software needed in making it like Adobe After Effects and Lightwave.

Rumors to the Sequel 2: there’s a Titanic 3 Trailer on Loose

The Titanic Two the Surface trailer by Robert Blankenheim aka Derek Johnson, the 25 year who got every fans of James Cameron’s Titanic wondering if there is a sequel, has gotten great reviews and—here it goes—a follow up. Yup! It’s a trailer for the so called Titanic 3, Titanic Never Let Go.

The said trailer was posted in You Tube, February 26, 2008, by xNightshadex who took the pseudo name Margaret Devaney, which public records search reveals is the name of an actual survivor from Titanic. The plot to the trailer follows Jack Dawson who has been on the run for 10 years. During this time the modern world has taken its toll on Jack and has thus lived a life of a fugitive. What made the said plot more interesting is the fact that records search can’t find his identity anywhere (although the trailer also shows how this happened). As he struggles with the life bestowed on him by the modern world, Jack also realizes that he can’t escape his past and that he has not completely let go of it, especially the memory of Rose.

In the making of the Titanic 3 trailer, the creator asked permission from Robert Blankheim to use clips from his Titanic 2 trailer as an introduction. It, honestly, worked pretty well especially with the new Jack image, gotten from different films. Below is the list where she got portions for her work.

It also introduced the new him—a criminal and a fugitive. The end part on the other hand, Never an Absolution by James Horner, was a softer tune to fit that give the sense wherein in the end the past is something he cannot escape from nor was able to let go.

Mediator drafted in to save Mayweather vs Pacquiao Megafight

Pacquiao pulled out of the lucrative contest, which was scheduled for 13 March, after Mayweather demanded random drugs tests ahead of the bout.

With potential purses of up to £25m per fighter, former judge Daniel Weinstein, who has helped resolve previous spats between the pair, has been brought in.

The duo have agreed all points of the contract apart from the drug testing.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are both happy to take unlimited urine tests but Pacquiao will submit to blood testing only on specific dates.

Last week he responded to claims that he had been using performance-enhancing substances by issuing a lawsuit against Mayweather, Mayweather’s father and uncle as well as Golden Boy Promotions.

Oscar de la Hoya, founder of Golden Boy, was also mentioned.

Mayweather’s team attempted to diffuse the situation by issuing a statement last week in which they claimed they had not accused Pacquiao of anything.

Weinstein resolved a dispute three years ago over the promotional rights to Pacquiao, who had signed contracts with Top Rank and Golden Boy.

Under the global settlement, Top Rank retained Pacquiao’s promotional rights with Golden Boy receiving a percentage of Top Rank’s profit from his future bouts.

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum, told ESPN.com: “This guy was successful resolving our nutty problem before and hopefully he can be successful this time. He’s a guy who is a big fight fan and loves the sport, and I found him last time to be a delight to deal with. Everybody did.”

Unbeaten Mayweather and five-weight champion Pacquaio – considered to be the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world – were set to meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in the biggest fight since the turn of the century.

Pacquiao became a five-weight world champion following his WBO welterweight title win over Miguel Cotto in November, while Nevada-based Mayweather returned from a 21-month retirement to beat Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez in September.

Blind Side Gains Top Position with $20.4M after New Moon’s $15.7M over the weekend

After her blockbuster hit, The Proposal, background check on Sandra Bullock’s latest film The Blind Side has taken the movie world with surprise…and I do mean a BIG SURPRISE.

I wrote on this blog recently at how Twilight Saga: New Moon skyrocketed in the blockbuster at its first filming (earning the rights to third place on the blockbuster hit list). Records search from last December 8’s movie update shows how New Moon was “Eclipsed” by Blind Side,  a drama inspired by the life of NFL star Michael Oher, as it advanced with $20.4 Million over the weekend.

The Blind Side was said to be this year’s movie underdog considering that it only went to the runner up position, coming next to New Moon, for two consecutive weeks. However on its third week, the movie went high as it totals $20.4 Million over the weekend compared to New Moon’s $15.7 Million. This is really a great surprise.

The Blind Side is a story about NFL Star Michael Oher, who was adopted by Sandra Bullock’s character. With the said heartwarming sports inspired film, there have been questions in the past as to why a football movie was to be launched in the big screens early on. However, with this great move, although public records search can’t deny that there is still this big difference with regards to its total gross compared to New Moon’s (the vampire flick really hit $255.6 Million domestically compared to the football-inspired drama’s $129.3 Million), there is no denying that this achievement is all thanks to the movie goers who have seen and did their part in advertising through their personal reviews of the film—recommending the film…

The vampire fever may still be on however real drama, formed by a great cast not to mention a good layout of the story, is something worth taking a chance seeing. At present, the inspiration to the film, Oher, is a rookie at the Baltimore Ravens—the grandest fruit of his labor. This is really one movie not to miss as it will find a person encouraged to fight back against life’s hardships.
